It’s the most wonderful time of the year Our pubs up and down the country have been hosting dazzling Christmas markets. From unique gifts and handmade goodies to seasonal foodie treats and local entertainment – our pubs pull out all the stops to host special events for all the family. Check out the highlights below… A choir from the local primary school entertained guests at The Fallow Field, Telford, with Christmas hits and sing-along carols. Santa paid a visit to The Griffin, Nuneaton, for the festivities and the team collected for the local hospice, Zoe’s Place. The Little Castle was full to brim with customers and the team pulled out all the stops to raise money for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. The market at The Waggon and Horses, Wolverhampton, had something for everyone including hand-decorated Christmas baubles, jewellery and festive jumpers! The Christmas market at The Alders, Ollerton, took over the whole car park and there was even a visit from the big man himself! At The Blaina Wharf, Newport, the team pulled in a host of local suppliers selling everything from toys and Christmas decorations to hand-knitted scarfs and beauty products. Customers braved the cold to pay a visit to The Crown’s Christmas market complete with a local blacksmith welding live. A huge marquee was up for the Christmas market at The Chestnut Tree, Wednesbury.
