The VIP treatment

TOAST teammates are on a mission to host every social occasion, so they're getting creative with some fresh ideas that’ll pull in the crowds.

From secret walls and neon signs, the latest edition of The Place magazine reveals some of the exciting new innovations happening in our TOAST pubs. Here, we explore even more masterpieces from the team, including VIP champagne tables and pre-stocked fridges in booths. It’s all about amazing our customers and creating exciting atmospheres that get them talking for weeks to come.

What? VIP champagne tables
How? The tables have built-in mini fridges, so chilled bottles of champagne rise from the centre at the touch of a button.
Why? They add a bit of sparkle and can be pre-booked so there’s no queuing at the bar, which makes guests feel like they’re getting VIP treatment.
Where? Find a table at The Riddle and Rye in Exeter and The Brierley Hop House in Dudley.

What? Private booths with in-built fridges, stocked with your fave drinks
How? Hire the booth, pre-order your drinks, then just turn up and your booth will be ready and waiting!
Why? They make guests feel special, giving them an exclusive space to enjoy with friends, where they can mix their own drinks as and when they want to, without needing to queue at the bar.
Where? Book your booth at The Riddle and Rye in Exeter.

What? ‘Legals & Laughs’ card game
How? Teammates pick out a card which is matched to one of the TOAST values (care, fun, knowledge and magic). They then have to bring this value to life when serving their customers, whilst their manager captures a pic and shares it in the TOAST team’s Facebook group.
Why? To keep the magic alive by creating customer experiences that really wow, to celebrate team members’ efforts and to share best practice across the TOAST pubs.
Where? All TOAST pubs – stop by and ask a teammate to tell you more about it!
